The Good: Lots of veggies! There were probably only 2 fruit stands and 50% were selling vegetables so I stocked up on kale (who knew there were at least 3 different kinds!), onion, and celery. Everything is of course very fresh and the vendors are well-knowledged in their products.
The first thing I got was a coffee which helped me to stay awake during the one hour that we were there. Trying samples of bread, cheeses, and chocolates were a highlight. One of the best things about going to any farmers market.
The Bad: It thought it'd be indoors but everything was outdoors. Fine for the summer, but not great when it's raining like it was today.
There could be some more vendors selling fruits and there were only 2 stands that sold coffee.
The Overall: Great for locals since it's in a family friendly neighborhood and it is very accessible by TTC. Just a 5 minute walk if you're talking the streetcar.
Revisit: Probably not. It's a bit out of the way for me to go to and there wasn't anything in particular there that I couldn't get at, let's say, the Saturday's Farmer's Market at St. Lawrence. But it was a nice day (even though it was raining!) to go out with a friend and talk shop with the owners of these farms and businesses.
