  • Last year I brought in some of my dad's items to Resale Antiques & Home Furnishings at Bell and Cotton Lane in Surprise, AZ. One item, a knick knack shelf sold right away. Another item was a peach color Victorian Lamp. Occasionally, I would go in to check on the items I left there. Today, I went in to see if dad's Victorian lamp had sold. First we couldn't find the lamp then...there it was... The glass shade was missing on the lamp and the circle light bulb was uneven and appeared broken. I was stunned. I asked what had happened to it and the gal said she would find out but then went on to help another unhappy customer checking on her items. I went back to the counter and asked again and the same girl said she would find out. She went into the back room then came out and started helping another customer. I handed her a piece of paper with my name and number and asked her to find out about the lamp and to call me. I think it would have been nice for the owner to call and tell me what happened to the lamp!
