I normally come here for their buns since this is the only walkable chinese bakery in my area. Wouldn't say the buns are my favorite, they're mediocre. There isn't much of a variety either. I decided to try out one of their menu items. They have a dining area where you can sit and eat. I got the two fried eggs, with 3 pieces of bacon and crispy bun with condensed milk. With all the subsitutions (cold instead of hot tea, crispy bun instead of reg toast), the total went from 4.50 to 7.50 which was... Meh.
The Grade A large eggs were very fresh and cooked to perfection. The bacon was good but I feel like they skimped out on the bacon by cutting a full piece in half and calling that 1 piece :( and the crispy bun with condensed milk was delicious, so that was worth the $1.00 upgrade. I came on a pretty empty stomach and left decently full so I guess thats a good thing! Overall, it was worth a try but I found the price too steep with all the $1.00 upgrades... (Cold instead of hot tea for one dollar more?!). Definitley something you can just cook up at home.
Would probably come back once in a while to eliminate my chinese bun cravings though
