| - I went here with a few friends last week. The decor as everyone says is really well done in a kitschy kind of way (although, I feel like they could have stretched the theme further into their bathrooms as well which were plain but functional). When people ordered "Volcano Bowls", a cloud of fog would appear at the bar. My friends joked that the kitsch level reminded us of going to a Rainforest Cafe as teenagers. The drinks themselves were yummy and nicely presented. The service was fine, just average. However, the food we ordered was absolutely disgusting. We ordered the fried broccoli and the fried spam rice ball. The broccoli was caked with batter, so much so that you could feel the pasty texture of it when you chewed it. It was also a bit soggy. The rice ball came crunchy but when I bit into it, the rice was very mushy and mostly just tasted of lime juice. To make matters worse, the inside of the rice ball was refrigerator cold - ick. I didn't bother sending it back as I was just keen to finish my drink and move on to another bar for the night. This is only a small sampling of their food, but the quality was so poor that I honestly couldn't imagine any of their food items being amazing, let alone "good". If this review was based on food I would have given it 1 star but with all things considered, the other elements my experience were fine.
Short version: Fun as a one time thing for the kitschy decor, stick to drinks and pass on the horrible food.
