I attempted to order a Sazerac, thinking the new ownership might have brought in new possibilities. The bartender, who was the same one from before the change, had no idea what that was, so I ordered an Old Fashioned with Rye Whiskey. It was $8.00, and was sort of red colored. While I was waiting for the drink (in the only place I could find to approach the bartender) in the 50-60+ age crowd, I made the mistake of chatting with a woman immediately next to where I happened to be at the bar. The man who came back to his seat (the only open seat at the bar) fairly politely told me to go away because he was talking to his woman or would-be woman of similar age over my 40 year limit I guess. So I went to finish my high priced cheap drink in the vacant pool room out back whilst talking to a friend on my phone. I'm sure it's a great place if you are middle aged. Of course the ownership has no control of this, but if you are 40 something or less, you aren't welcome. Still a geezer bar, forever.
