  • After reading so many positive reviews I finally made my way to NODA to check out this place. We were seated in a comfortable over-sized booth against the front windows so we were able to people watch while eating. The interior is pleasing and appeared very clean. NODA foot traffic has really picked up during the daytime but the area really comes to life after dark. But back to the food. The first thing that surprised me on this menu was the wide variety of food in general. If you aren't a crepe person, they have burgers, subs, pizza and an array of sides including fresh-cut fries and brussel sprouts, yummmmm! I ordered the Queen City Crepe and paid $1 extra for a side of fries. I am a french fry junkie and when they are fresh-cut, the more likely I am to eat there. All their crepes use Buckwheat and at first I was a little hesitant since I was not familiar with the taste. But WOW!! This makes the 5th crepe restaurant I have tried over the past year and Crepe Cellar wins hands down (not saying the others were bad). The overall taste of this crepe, which included bacon, chicken and cheese (and a few other things I can't remember) was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef !! Oh, and those fresh-cut fries will have me back in no time. With the food being this good, it was hard not to pass on dessert. We decided to split the Strawberry Creme Cheesecake. It was so good, I bought one to go. I cannot wait for my next visit. As much as I liked the crepe, I am tempted to try a burger or the chicken cordon bleu. I can only imagine how good these would be seeing how good the crepes were.
