As usual typical Chinese service, when we first went there, they snapped at us twice, WE ARE CLOSED! We went back the next morning but they weren't open and then we went back a third time and then had to wait a while and they did not notice anyone in line waiting for a table. We ordered out as it had gotten busy with all Chinese people celebrating the day after Chinese New Year. The food took quite a while (we could have eaten a lot if we had just sat down), a few dishes I wanted like egg tart, sponge cake, leaf wrapped rice, they did not have but overall their dim sum was really good. They have won best Asian 2009 which is quite a feat for most restaurants.
Their baked BBQ pork buns were so fresh and tasty I had dreams about them only 1/2 hour after eating them. Because of these buns I am willing to take a bit of abuse from lousy service. Their pineapple buns and custard baked buns were also really fresh. Their steamed BBQ pork and custard buns were good too. Their beef rice roll was small but good and their beef balls were only OK.
They had tons of authentic style dishes that my parents would love (but I don't), in fact I will tell them to stay at this hotel so that they can be close to their own food as they always complain they can't get any decent chinese rice anywhere.
I will definitely be back to try more and actually sit at a table when it's not so busy.
