Decent quick in & out dessert store. It's definitely not upto the quality of momofuku shoto tho. I have tried pretty much everything in the milk bar and their desserts are mostly very sweet & salty and overdosed with milk powder. Feels like American dessert in steroids.
Personally didn't enjoy the birthday cake truffle as much as what other ppl said, but the compost cookies definitely stood out despite of the over powering milk powder taste, grind coffee really bring the memory of my childhood favourite coffee cookies(btw it was caffeine free). If you like subtle and savoury dessert, try corn cookies. It's simple but has gentle yet distinguishing sweet corn flavour that's hard to come by these days. It's very diff. from most of desserts in the milk bar.
I might go back there to try their whole cakes in the future but unless I'm at Shangri-la or momofuku, I don't think I'll make a separate trip to the place.
