| - I went in to purchase a bike and I asked if it could be put on hold or if I could come back and pick up later that evening. The lady on her phone at the customer service register said "nu uh", not even giving me a clear response and obviously being rude, on her phone with the other associates behind the counter, even with a manager of some sort being present. Very disappointed in the service here.
Second, whenever I went to the bike section to purchase a bike, I had to ask for assistance to get a bike down to look at it. I didn't see anyone around to get help, so I walk over a group of associates. I can see that they are doing some sort of merchandising, but I tell them "I'm sorry, I know you're doing something else and I don't mean to bother, but can you please help me get bike down?". Two out of the three associates, don't even acknowledge me, and so the third associate rolls his eyes, looks around and starts complaining out loud "where is all the other people at? Why do I have to do this?".
I will not be visiting this Walmart for big purchases anymore due to the lack of customer service, even though I had been more than polite and friendly towards the staff. I have worked in retail and restaurants for eight years now, and there is no excuse to be acting like this. I get it, it's Walmart, big deal, but seriously this is inexcusable.
