  • Vanity Shoes looks far from ever seeing a Vanity. The place looks like a shoe store that I used to visit in North Battleford in the 80s. There are strips of mirrors siding acting as display decor on the side walls of the store; but presenting shoes that are so overly outdated. There are shoe and boot selections here and although given that most leather products are from Spain or Italy. It feels like they are products of days gone by and in a way they are, the shoeboxes that they come in look like remnants from the 70s. The store also offers bags and purses but some of these are just strewn on the floor. In fact if you look under the benches to try on shoes you will see scattered boots and shoes under the bench as if someone was too lazy to put them away or there is no storage in the backroom. The boy there was nice and although I said I would come back here and shop with my mother because what I saw is for an older market, the truth is mother has more taste than what is offered here.
