Here on a birthday trip for my wife. We had the great opportunity to stay at the Bellagio (Her dream hotel). I decided to surprise her again with tickets to "O". Before we went to the show we ate here.
High class, fancy shmancy. This place oozes with opulence and romance. I really enjoy going to a place like this a few times a year. The lighting is low the waiters are attentive and the food is excellent.
We started off with the french onion soup, not the best I've ever had but very good.
The waiter then informed me that they had A5 Japanese Wagyu beef for 50 dollars per ounce. You only live once people, might as well live as much as you can. I ordered 4 ounces.
The $200 filet came out, and it was worth every penny. The BEST filet I have or ever will have eaten in my life. I've been to some of the best steakhouses and this without a doubt was worth the $200. For me it was a once in a lifetime, unless someone else is paying next time. Melted in my mouth and had flavor for DAYS!
The sides were mac n cheese and scalloped potatoes. Bother were great, but all I could think about was that filet... damn that was good.
