| - My husband and I came here for a baseball stadium tour since we were visiting the Phoenix area.
A few weeks prior to this, we had been at the San Diego Padres stadium for a tour. When I compare the two, the San Diego tour was really a lot better with more facts and tidbits.
First of all, there was a ton of construction noise in the stadium, so it was hard at times to hear what was being said.
The stadium was neat to see, but on the sterile side compared to some of the east coast stadiums that I have been at. I did like the pool, in fact, that was the main reason why I wanted to come see this stadium.
I found our tour guide to be on the rude side, especially about my New York Yankees hat. Ok, we get it, your mediocre team beat NYY after one of the most tragic days in NYC history (9-11-2001). I was really irritated that the female tour guide refused to take my photo with my Yankees hat on. New Yorkers are proud to be from the Empire State, so this behavior seemed really childish.
Other than the immature tour guide we encountered, I found the people of Phoenix to actually be quite hospitable.
