  • Two years ago, after a last-minute cancellation with another dentist, I did a search on Yelp and scheduled a same-day appointment at Mitchell Dental. I've been returning ever since, even with both an address and an insurance change. The office is not your typical sterile, uncomfortable waiting room atmosphere; rather, it's like going to a more sophisticated friend's incredibly stylish living room! There's a cooler of water and other beverages, a solid magazine assortment, and comfy couches. The friendly, helpful staff ensure the check-in process is efficient and welcoming. There are TVs if you like to be distracted during your cleaning, but I usually prefer talking about Netflix shows and local restaurant faves with Jenny, my dental hygienist. Dr. Mitchell himself also demonstrates warmth and professionalism to his patients. You get sent home with a new toothbrush and travel-sized toothpaste (which has come in handy whenever I have visitors in town or am too lazy to get a new one at CVS).
