| - I have 2 AC units in my home. Last summer the bottom floor one went out but decided not to check into it right away. Last week I noticed my upstairs unit wasnt cooling as quickly, I realized I better bite the bullet and get someone out to check things out. I called Air Done Right on Thursday afternoon. The woman who picked up was so pleasant, asked me a few questions and asked when I would like someone to come to my home. I was pretty open since it wasnt a dire emergency, she replied she could get someone out as early as 6p-8p that very evening! I decided the next day would be better, let the techs get home to their families. The charge to come out was $35 which is very reasonable compared to other places I've called. On average its $50-75. Although this fee is waived if you decide on using service, I still dont want to be obligated should I not like the price. $35 I guess I could commit to. The next day Mark and Juan came over to check out the problem. They arrived on time and quickly checked my internal vents and went outside to check the units. Within 15 minutes they had my diagnosis and suggestions ready. Mark explained what I already knew about my downstairs unit, the motor needed to be replaced, the upstairs unit was frozen. They replaced a coil and defrosted it for me (no charge). When I asked him a few questions on how can I prevent the unit from freezing he gave me quick and inexpensive advice which he could have easily snagged me for some upsells but no, Mark quoted me a fair price to replace the motor and gave me free advice for future. Also, I noticed when I was on their Yelp page they offered $100 credit for $50. I mentioned the ad to Mark and he quickly honored that discount. Which was great because I didnt have to log in and take the additional steps for the discount. Lastly, he asked how did I hear about his service? I proudly said I'm an avid yelper! He said if I was happy with their service and left a review he would throw in another discount. YOU GOT YOURSELF A DEAL! To keep this completely transparent, this review is in NO WAY fluffed to secure a discount. If they sucked I would absolutely write that here. This is why I enjoy yelp so much, it helps us folks get the inside scoop before booking companies or going out to dine. Definitely want to help others as they too have helped me with their reviews. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone asking me who to call and I will definitely use them again if ever needed. The entire appointment from start to finish was roughly under 1 hour, quick! Thanks for helping me keep myself and my family cool this summer!
