  • A lot to love here! It's modern but still cozy, large enough that tables are spread out, and a good mix of wood and metal with some splashes of color thrown in to keep it from falling into industrial. I went around five on a Monday and there were a good amount of people without quite hitting what would be considered busy. There was one barista working and she was quick and made some delicious drinks - the almond milk hot chocolate I ordered was one of the best I've had in Madison. It was frothy, creamy, and very chocolatey - it's hard to get all three with almond milk. There were some delicious looking Madison Sourdough Company pastries in the case if you want a snack to go with your coffee. The wifi is strong (password is written in white marker on the side of the pastry case - easy to miss), and since it's a Milwaukee chain they stream 88Nine - I hate to admit it but it's definitely better than any of the stations in Madison for indie/alternative. Caffeine-free options are limited (hot chocolate, steamer, two herbal teas) and it's a bit of a hike from my apartment, but it's a convenient meeting place for my colleague so I'm sure it'll work itself into my normal rotation, at least in the near future!
