| - So far everything is great. Valet parking and bellman were nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. Had dinner at the 24/7 Cafe. The Chicken Fried Steak is awesome and yummy. Tomorrow we reserved a Cabana at the pool so I will update on that. We've stayed here before. Always have excellent service. Dealers are usually fun.
On Saturday, we reserved a Cabana at the pool. It was great. Serenity was our server and she was better than awesome, terrific, great, super, good. I would give her 5+ stars, on a scale of 1 - 10, I would give her an 11, (2 thumbs up). She was polite and checked on us about every 15-20 minutes. Keep in mind it was 116 degrees for the high. Not once did this young lady complain about the heat or all of the walking she was doing.
We left the pool I think around 6 or 7. Due to knee issues, I couldn't walk without pain so my husband went to Fatburger for food. I have always liked their food but for some reason it tasted extra good Saturday night.
After eating in our room, Jimmy went down to play the tables and I was laying down propping up my knee. This is when the ONLY negative thing happened. But the hotel couldn't really control this. There was a major water leak that caused the water to be shut down in the entire hotel & casino. When they did that happened, they shut the AC off. In the casino it was miserable but in the room it wasn't so bad. They got the water back on in a couple of hours so it wasn't so bad.
Sunday was just as wonderful. I relaxed and did nothing.
When we had to check out Monday, neither one of us wanted to leave. I called down for a bellhop to come get our luggage and take it down to the lobby for us. Jimmy went to check out and get the car, as with everyone we came in contact with, the bellhop and the person who checked Jimmy out was friendly, nice & kind.
I highly recommend the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino. You won't be disappointed!
