  • I purchased a 2014 Nissan Sentra from ABC Nissan after having horrible experiences at other Nissan Dealerships. We previously purchased a Nissan Altima at this location back in 2003 so I decided to drive down to Camelback and try them out again. My salesman was Alfonso Santos. He made the whole car buying process quick and easy. This is going to sound crazy but I could have gotten a better deal on this car somewhere else, but because he treated me kindly and with respect I wasted no time purchasing the car. He is not your typical salesman who are always nice in the beginning then once the bargaining starts their attitude takes a turn for the worst. I truly felt he was trying to do everything he could to get me a fair deal that I would feel comfortable with. I give Alfonso FIVE STARTS but the overall experience is only a four star because there were some issues once I got into the finance department. Mason Kutler was the financing person I dealt with. He had a great personality and we got along great but it wasn't hassle free. I was pre-approved for a certain amount by my credit union. The car exceeded that amount. I was told by the dealership the credit union extended the loan amount which was not true. I then got a call the next day by Mason to come and resign the purchase agreement for a higher interest rate through a different finance company. NO WAY! I said I would bring the car back if that was the case. By this time I was in contact with someone else in finance, I believe her name was Daniella. She somehow got my credit union to approve the full purchase price we agreed upon, which I appreciated. It's hard to say if this was truly a lack of communication or they were trying to get me financed at a higher interest rate through their preferred finance company. Overall it was a good experience and I would purchase another vehicle from this dealership but I would handle things differently next time. You live and learn and get wise to all the tricks of the trade. P.S. Shout out to Daniel Talavera a salesman who was in training with Alfonso. What a genuine down to earth guy. Go and purchase your vehicle from either of these guys. They are amazing!
