My husband tried to eat at Chipotle in Highland Heights Ohio a few days ago and had an interesting time which I feel does need to be expressed here. This his story about his visit and how the problem was handled or should I say not handled.
" I was out of town working in the area I had about a 30 minutes to eat normally I enjoy my visits to your restaurant but this time after I bought my food it became clear there was no silverware, I asked the cashier and she said sorry we dont have any she then said she would send the manager out to speak with me as she was in the back. for some reason she did not come out but sent some guy wanting to shake my hand he then said so sorry we dont have any to give you, considering there was a line out the door I asked if they were going to inform everyone in the line that they will have to eat their lunch with their hands"
"no we are not going to do that but if you want to wait I will be going to another one of our restaurants and bring some back".
"So let me get this straight you want me to wait till you leave and come back or I need to take this back home or sit here and eat it like a dog"
his response was "well dont know what else to tell you."
I still really wanted to know why they were selling food and not warning everyone that we will not be able to eat it unless we went home. I will not return again.
