I went to this B of A branch yesterday with a friend to get a cashiers check. As we entered the bank we could not help but notice the line led all the way to the door. There was one teller window open ( lunch hour busy time) and there were people leaving after waiting what seemed like forever. After waiting 20 minutes I went to the managers door to make him aware of the situation which he should have noticed without a customer having to tell him. he was busy in his office chatting with another employee. I strongly suggested having an additional window open. He let me know that one employee had to leave for a family emergency. That can be understood but 2 or 3 minutes later 2 other employees left to go to lunch.
The manager (I used that term loosely) finally came out of his office after another 10 minutes and he and the employee that he was originally talking to in his office casually opened a second teller window. During our 35 minute ordeal I saw at least 8 to 10 irate customers leave the bank without having been waited on. This was the worst customer service disaster I have ever witnessed and all through this the so called manager acted as if this was no big deal. I am sure the people that went there on their lunch hour and never got to have lunch were as upset as I was and several of them let their feelings be known in loud voices.
After I delivered the check that I stood in line to get for more than 35 minutes I stopped at a Credit Union nearby on Union Hills and opened accounts there. As soon as all of my outstanding checks clear and I change my direct deposit I will no longer have to deal with this again.
I agree with the other posts regarding this branch that it is the worst experience ever. Take my advice and avoid this bank.
