  • We got a $20 for $50 Groupon for this place, so my husband and I tried it out for breakfast Sunday morning. We wanted to sit out on the patio as it was a beautiful day. They sat us at a tiny table, and as we both ordered breakfast, we wanted to move across the aisle to a bigger table, that could actually hold 2 plates, 2 coffee cups and 2 glasses of water. And then.. they started playing techno music, LOUD! Now, I'm not a fuddy duddy, but I was not in the mood for "UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ" at 11:00AM. Nor was it that kind of crowd, as we were one of the younger ones. Most of the people there were well in their 40's. So we decided we'll go sit inside, where there wasn't any music playing. So we tell our waitress that we want to move inside. She says "I'll fix it." By which she meant she'll CHANGE the music to rap music, although she did turn it down just a smidge. So we said eh, screw it, we'll just move to the larger table. The waitress came by and said "Oh, you still moved?" We moved all the stuff on the table ourselves. We didn't ask her to move them. By this time, the husband is PISSED! He says "If you tip her anything, I'm not talking to you for the rest of the trip" because I have a tendency to feel bad for the waitstaff and so I usually tip, no matter how bad the service (see my review of Yard House in Orange County). Seriously, if you don't like people and don't want to deal with people, DON'T WORK IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY! I did sneak her a few dollars for tip just because my conscience won't allow it (shhh, don't tell the husband!) Long story short, the food, even with the Groupon, is still overpriced. Maybe if we caught the water show at the Bellagio, it might have helped, but as it was in the morning, that didn't help. All the other reviews regarding crappy service are 1,000% accurate and spot on. Avoid this place like the plague.. unless and until management decides to do something about the wait staff.
