  • I've been going to Kane & Company for almost 4 years, to see Lauren E. I love the convenient location in downtown Champaign, and that they sometimes have wine for customers. What better way to start a Friday night after a long week at work than to get pampered, have a drink, and then head out for dinner downtown with a fabulous new haircut? Lauren is a genius with short haircuts (and I'm sure other kinds, but I have short hair) -- she's worked with me for years and always has fun ideas for changing up my style. Last year she helped me fulfill a lifelong dream of shaving my head, and set up half-appointments every few weeks following it to ensure it grew back okay. Now, a year later, my hair is back to normal and I never had an awkward "grow out" stage thanks to Lauren! Kane & Co's front desk staff are friendly, they have high-quality products, their stylists always greet you with a smile (even when you see them outside of the salon), and the whole energy in there is just great. Call ahead to book your appointment, because they are very busy -- but it is totally worth it. L-O-V-E this place!
