  • Having passed by this spot a few times I initially thought this was another one of the Japanese dessert chains that are starting to dot the city (many of those are decent IMO). However upon further reading about this chain I realized they started in Austria. Being a fan of desserts from that region I don't think I have encountered something like a quarter bun dessert they sell here. Ah well wanting to try it out I ordered a cheese version with a strawberry one as a bonus as was visiting a friend nearby. The packaging looks nice but isn't very functional IMO. OK after the instagram worthy look maybe on to the main attraction. Hmm didn't quite enjoy it. The cheese reminded me of the kraft cheese spread that was sold in Europe and the subcontinent. The bread itself wasn't very good. Strawberry has more dessert profile IMO but again didn't impress. The filling is in the center and bread to filling ratio is way off. With the price point I think I will skip. In the meantime if the taste profiles appeal to you do try. 2 Stars.
