| - This is not luxury living as their site suggests! Prior to moving here there was about a 21 day gap from the time the previous tenants moved out so that maintenance could complete all work in the unit as necessary. We chose the 3 Bedroom town homes thinking that they would be better than the apartments, but they are not. Also....Roaches, Roaches, Roaches, and lots of other insects.
Upon arrival to pick up the keys to move in we were told that we had to wait almost 2 hours to move in while maintenance finishes up. After we were given the keys i inspected the unit and wrote down a long list of items that needed to be fixed by maintenance. There were many things that needed to be either be fixed or replaced. Below is a list that was sent to the Maintenance supervisor after moving in.
1. I was told the carpet was newer, but it looks like it is older and was poorly put in and frayed on the edges. There is also paint on some parts where the trim on most spots in the unit.
2. The cabinets have paint on them and there is a hole drilled in between one of them. Also the insides were still stained and was supposed to be fixed.
3. Downstairs bathroom toilet flush handle sticks.
4. No hot water from the kitchen sink, Gas was turned on yesterday.
5. Garage door would intermittently not work
6. Beauty bars for the carpet were missing
7. There are some doors that do not stay closed.
8. The mount on the bottom of the stairwell needs some paint.
9. Garage floor is horrible with all the stains, should have had a professional concrete cleaner used.
10. The peep hole in the door was painted over.
11. The toilet paper holder in the guest bathroom is barely hanging on.
12. The closet door by the garage had been previously damaged and a cover had been placed over the hole.
13. The light switch next to the door has one switch that seems to not have a use for.
14. The outside light in front is not working.
15. The front door has dents on the inside.
16. The overall paint job is sub par as well, there are many items that were painted over. The painters are definitely not professional and should have used tape to protect the areas.
17. Grout on all floors are dirty and is coming up.
18. Guest bathroom has two tone paint on a wall, cracked tiles, paint on mirror, toilet paper holder is not secured tightly, multiple holes from prior holders on the cabinet.
19. The trim in the living room had water damage
20. Caulking is needed in all tiled areas..
21. Touch up paint on noticeable spots
22. They did not turn on the hot water in any bathroom and kitchen.
23. Did i mention that they paint over everything to include mirrors and vents.
24. he GFI receptacle in the master bathroom needs to be replaced
25. Metal objects under the carpet, it was painful when stepping on these.
26. The light switches for the walkway have been intermittently working.
27. Dryer does not dry well, takes about 3 cycles to dry things.
28. Brand new dishwasher did not dispense rinse aid.
29. Again roaches, roaches, roaches.
Though most of the items were fixed, i am still giving this place a low rating. I will revisit in 6 months to see if i change my mind.
