Twice I've had Collins dispatched by my home warranty company. Both times I've experienced problems with complete lack of customer service skills. My most recent was 3 days ago when the issues were not corrected along with incorrectly advising me that my home warranty would be void for any such future issues. Additionally, the promised email with the proposal for $2000.00 worth of work was not sent as promised. While my recirculating pump valve was replaced, I was left with low pressure and the water still has to run quite a while before getting hot. I was told to provide the model number for my faucet so a cartridge could be obtained and the technician did not have the needed compressed air to blow out any clogging sediment. Bottom line is that I do not believe that Collins has my best interest at heart but are much more interested in finding ways to charge me for what actually IS covered in my home warranty plan. Thankfully, I was able to confirm that my home warranty is not void. I was able to look up instructions for cleaning the faucet cartridge and use my own air compressor to blow out any clogs. I have restored pressure to my faucet and will pursue a more professional, customer serviced oriented company to install a whole house water filtration system.
If you have One Guard Home Warranty, you can call them to request that Collins not be sent to your home. Reading the business' response to reviews is rock solid proof the company is not customer oriented., They can all be summed up as sorry you don't like us, our prices are fair with NO offer to resolve the issue.
