The food was very satisfying; like French comfort food.
My fiance and I both had the French onion soup. It was tasty, cheesy and oniony. I can never resist it once I see it on the menu. Unfortunately, we didn't get the bread until we were nearly done with our soup.
I wasn't that hungry so for my entree I had the salad with apples, walnuts and cheese. The entire bottom of the plate is covered in cheese slices, there is approximately one walnut and quite a few thinly sliced apples. It was good but the smells from across the table left me wanting to steal my fiance's seared salmon with lemon butter sauce over orzo.
They have rolling carts that hold all opened wines you can buy a glass of. One of them was parked right next to me and I was very tempted to help myself to a refill!
