| - Unless you're looking to buy some italian cashmere sweaters or "luxurious" (read-overpriced) Corgi socks, you're better off shopping at Gap or Old Navy. Quality at J.Crew is not always impeccable, as I've seen tons of sweaters missing rhinestones and buttons. Rhinestones also tend to be a staple on a lot of garments here (hope you like hand-washing!) $100 can't get you very much here, even with the sales. Sales items tend to be either tacky, ugly stuff nobody wanted anyways, or in bad shape because they've had the same things marked down for seasons!
Also, fit is an issue. Curvy ladies, or even ANY ladies with some meat on their bones, beware. Shopping for pants is an issue here. The jeans are called "toothpick" and "matchstick." Very telling about who they are geared towards. Shirts tends to be short and boxy, which can make a lot of people look bigger than they are. Yes, I know this is their "thing" but they need to appeal to more than one body type if they want more customers.
I'm not surprised that most of the time I pass by, the store is a ghost town. So if you're not picky about the material of your clothes (IE: regular cotton is alright with you), you're better off shopping at any of the other stores in Eaton Centre. J.Crew is not worth full price!
