  • Overall the Rock & roll Hall of Fame & Museum (Those in the know call it RNRHOF+M) is pretty cool. I liked all the places to listen to the artists' music but they could use some more interesting ways to present it. Standing in a big hallway full of rock crap with headphones on isn't my idea of fun. There wasn't even much music playing throughout the exhibits. Costumes were cool, but overall the museum lacked interactivity. Too much reading, not enough cool stuff. And at the end they make you walk through the gift shop to exit. It was heavily biased to the 60s/70s artists... I'm much more of a 90s fan so the "grunge" section was disappointing. Plus they really glossed over all the deaths & ODs across all the time periods - that for sure is one thing that truly linked all the genres and time periods! And then they have this pitiful rap section of a few sneakers and jerseys. I mean, if you're going to include rap in this museum, don't do it so half-*ssed. One of my faves was Elvis' car, a sweet purple Cadillac. I also liked that they give a student discount. So everyone, remember your college IDs! One of the main movies was (c) 1995 - - they haven't even updated it since the museum opened! So my friend and I had a contest to find the most recent item... First, found something from 2000: ok that's this decade. Outkast jacket circa 2003? Getting closer. Oh, we have a winner! It's a photo set of Chris Brown and Rihanna. Keep it classy, Cleveland.
