  • I had the worst experience at The Nail Shop yesterday with Tony. I came in for a back fill and asked for pink and white...like I HAD. He tried to talk me into a regular fill and I said I liked more white, that's why I needed a backfill. He slopped the white on and used the nail tips to scrape off the excess. Halfway through when I said I didn't like them he said "that's what you had. That's what you said you wanted." My nail beds are all ridged and apparently this is the "pink" they use...clear...so you can really see the ridges from where the file dug in. He didn't shape them either and I was near tears when I left there. I was still charged the full price and I would have paid to have them redone (as they offered NO compensation) but I didn't have another hour and 45 mins to spare. Even the lady sitting next to me commented on how bad they looked and gave me the names of two other techs there that were really good.
