I'm pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to make of the mixed reviews but since my son asked for macarons, I decided to pick up some from here as I don't know where else you can get macarons in downtown. They are quite big (and I read somewhere that they purposely make them this way) so perhaps that's why they're $2.50 a piece - most expensive in the City. Texture wise, the are soft, chewy with prominent flavors. Ate them straight out of the fridge and they didn't turn hard. Love the rich, cream filling in between. I would say they're pretty good macarons in my book - would definitely return to buy more!
