| - Terrible experience! When we moved in, i had tears on my eyes after i saw the apartment, where i had to live for next 12 months. Perhaps that is why i failed to properly fill out moving in conditions forms. I was beyond upset... My room was filthy and nasty looking. I spent 2 hours cleaning it with hardcore chemicals. Unfortunately, the smell of previous renters faded only for few days. My blinds were crooked and operated poorly. Lucky me, JSM replaced them a week before i happily moved out forever! The carpet was soiled and had cigarettes spots.
In addition to that, we had mice twice in our townhouse. After we reported a first incident they "sealed" the hole in our pantry with a magazine!!! few months later mouse ate a hole in the magazine and appeared again in our pantry. Moreover, my food that was in there was bitten and partially eaten. Gross!!! Also, I consistently had flies coming out of my bath tub (with impossible to remove rusty spots) drain.
Unfortunately, i had to rent from JSM for 2 years, because i wanted to live with my girls. When our second renting year has started they conveniently forgot to mention that they raised our lease by 20 dollars. BTW i could have reported them. Compassionate me never done it though.
Another issue i had with them, was pretty bad too. One of the workers forgot to lock the door after his visit. Such a cute and forgetfull dude! My lap top and other precious belongings were in danger for at least 3 hours.
To conclude, they charged us 75 dollars after we moved out mostly because our oven was dirty and black. "Charming" employee Adam said that the issues i keep talking about (remember, mice, flies, initial poor hygiene of the apt) are not relevant.
There are many more to mention here, but i have to go.
The only good thing i can mention about JSM is their plumber/maintenance guy with numerous tattoos and a kind face. He always was super helpful and handled my requests properly. Good job!
