  • Love it! I've been looking for a good, cozy independent coffee place for the longest time and finally found it. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and vibe, nice patio out front with a view of the park across the street. Tango Palace has character and charm, but I find the crowded interior just too chaotic and annoying. Rooster Coffee House, though offers a cozy, comfy and relaxing place to work on your laptop, read, chat with a friend or just veg out. Despite the obvious differences, I kinda felt like I was in Paris thanks to the good espresso, the patio out front and the unisex washroom with shared sink. BIG BONUS: No smoking on the patio!!! Wooohoooo!! I'll definitely come back next next time I'm in the area. My only complaint is that Rooster isn't in MY neighbourhood. Boohoo :(
