  • Where are 6 stars when you need them? As evidenced by previous reviews, I appreciate the offerings at Kyara, but they recently updated their menu and added some new, delicious items that contributed to an epic feast this past week. Notable items include the blue cheese potato salad, some super thin, fried chicken "fingers," and the best bar snack bar none: gobo chips (fried burdock). I have never had these before, but if you know me, you know I adore fried okra, and fried burdock is the perfect stand in. Order me a couple of Japanese beers and a bowl of gobo chips, and I would be a very content barfly. We ended up ordering two orders. AND, (perhaps for a limited time) they have an Asahi lottery! Order one Asahi, and for your second, you get to draw a lottery ticket to determine the price. My price? FREE!! I highly suggest other restaurants consider this as a pricing mechanism. It was the highlight of my evening (after the gobo chips).
