  • I liked this place. I went up to Montreal a few months ago and made it a point to check out this place. Candibar is out of this world original. The drinks are all good, they use awesome garnishes (like ring pops), the staff outfits are these crazy egyptian costume things, and the menu is on a flipping wooden lollipop! The bar is definitely aimed at young women, which is perfect if you're a single guy in the city. The people there were mostly in their early 20s and were there to party. From what I remember the dj was alright, and the trippy lights everywhere were fun, but the space of the venue was just too small. The staff was kind of rude and had little patience for English speakers like myself. The prices were sort of over the top too, but this place was just too far out and memorable to give it a bad review. If you can get over the entrance line, the high prices, and the rude staff, you are looking at an extremely fun, crazy, unique night unlike any other.
