| - When the grandchildren are in town, this becomes a de-rigueur visit. It does not much have to offer to adult. You have to walk through a souvenir store, which cause countless stress (with young children).
The decor with tons of dangling plastic foliage, is probably becoming a health hazard. There is no way that they can wash or clean all the foliage, or even dust it.
The kids, however, enjoy the animatronics, which rain forest gorillas putting on a show every so often.
The food is forgettable, the service desultory, and lax. This restaurant is part of the Landry's chain, which is being financially pinched by the receding economy in the U.S. They will pinch you in the wallet, as food is quite pricey.
But the kids love it! I guess we could take them to the zoo...but wait...they go there too.
