I live in the neighbourhood and have passed by this Bakery everyday since they have opened. I generally thought they would be on the pricey side and therefore had not popped in to try anything. However, last week their almond croissants were screaming at me through the window and I decided to give them a try.
They have cute little baskets with decadent different croissants and breads and have prices scattered around on little pop up cards. Everything is more expensive than usual but after trying their almond croissant I can understand why. The croissant was on the flat side and was very flakey but it had just the right amount of almond butter inside it and made the walk home that much more enjoyable.
I noticed this place also leaves left over bread in bags outside their door at the end of the night for the homeless which is awfully sweet.
I am a fan of this place however it does pinch the wallet!
