  • Spent the weekend in this landmark Montreal hotel. Great location to explore Montreal walking. Not quite the polish of most other Fairmont hotels. Seeing some evidence of wear and tear probably time for a refresh of carpets etc. Cocktails in the lobby bar utilize age old recipes that go back to the origins of the hotel. Old Fashioned uses Canadian Whiskey rather than bourbon. Worth a try but a bit sweet for me.
