So, I literally haven't woke up a day in Cleveland and thought "I think I'll go to the Rock & Roll HOF today". This past weekend, my cousin was in town for one of the kids' hockey tournaments and they were going to be going to the HOF with the team. We figured it'd be the most convenient way to meet up during their hectic weekend. So, I made my way down there pretty much just to meet up with them. And, WOW - i was SO impressed by the museum and had a WONDERFUL time!!
Tickets are 22 dollars for adults, so no, it's not the cheapest, but I think it's totally worth it! I loved walking through each and every part of the museum. Just seeing John Lennon's piano and Michael Jackson's glove and dresses that the Sopranos wore was just amazing! This place has 7 floors of AWESOME displays. I HIGHLY recommend the Dick Clark video (in the theater close to the Jimi Hendrix display on the first floor). The Rolling stones exhibit on the top floors was pretty sweet too!
We stopped and grabbed some food with the kids in their cafe and the food was pretty good. My cousin and I shared the poached pear salad and roasted caprese sandwich - delish. Kids had nachos, giant cookies, and some oreo cake (healthy, I know).
I REALLY enjoyed the museum and honestly went in just expected to run after the kids and catch up with my cousin. I can't wait to go back. I think it's def a great place to take people visiting you in Cle (or for you to visit if you live here and haven't or if you are visiting and looking for something to do).
