| - I walked in (no appointment) for a pedicure to treat myself for my birthday (yay!). The place is clean, and doesn't have that strong smell of nail polish and remover. The spa pedicure was very relaxing. I fully enjoyed the massaging chair - it felt so wonderful on my back. Tamara worked on my toes and she was so soft and gentle. The conversation was minimal, so if you like to gab, Tamara may not be the one for you. But, I enjoyed the quiet to really relax.
When I sat down, Tamara asked if I wanted a spa pedicure or a regular pedicure. I asked what the spa pedicure was and was told there was lemon, a sugar scrub and a massage. I don't remember exactly how she described it, but it was only $10 more than the regular pedicure so I decided to go for it. It is, after all, my birthday treat. So, she added lemon slices to the water, did the sugar scrub on my lower legs and feet (which felt amazing), massaged my lower legs and feet with a very nice berry-scented lotion, and then, wrapped my lower legs and feet with a warm towel (which also felt amazing).
It was a nice experience. Tamara was pleasant and gentle. I thought it was reasonable as far as price goes ($35 for the spa pedicure, total $40 to include tip). And, my toes look fantastic!
