Went from good to not-so-good over the past year or so.
When they were first opening a bakery on that side of Butler Street I was so excited. The first dozen times we went there we were really excited. They had fresh donuts and everything was SO cute inside. Their cookies and bars looked so appealing and we were excited to try everything. The vibe of the store was adorable and they even started having sandwiches which we were excited about.
However the past few visits have not been as successful. They stopped making donuts during the week which was frustrating because they were the only place in town that had donuts. Then most recently I went and their employee told me that we could buy fudge by 1/2 pound or pound. This was quickly corrected by a supervisor/manager? of some kind and we got the size that we wanted. Looked very appetizing! However when we got home it was as hard as a rock. Literally could have broken my teeth if I attempted to eat it. Why would you sell something this old to customers? This isn't the first experience we've had with having desserts that look amazing but taste old/stale. I don't know if it's because the things look so nice that they don't want to throw them away but I cannot vouch for any sort of freshness (minus the delicious donuts, when they have them) here. Real shame but don't think we will be coming back here.
