Overall a great gym at a great price. There is a lack of some amenities you might be used to at other gyms but the membership fees reflect that too. The equipment is plentiful and of good quality. The gym itself is clean and well lit. Any of the staff I have dealt with have all been excellent.
Occasionally I will see "a" machine with repair sign on it but it's handled in a relatively short time. With the number of machines at this location even having several out of order at once wouldn't be much of a determent.
Because of my work I usually visit off hours and yes sometimes a group of people will get loud and boisterous but I have seen the same and worse at other gyms. Also there are people that don't wipe down equipment after use etc but again that happens at any gym.
Huge benefit really is that it is a no frills gym. I don't have people chasing me around trying to upsell, don't have mention of special classes or events or reminders to visit the nutritionist etc. I don't come to whirlpool, shower, take dance classes. I come work out & go home. I am very happy to not have to pay for all the extra things that require maintenance, cleaning and staffing.
My only complaint is actually nothing to do with the gym it's occasionally a few of the members. Street shoe, jeans, flip flop type sandals, trying to sneak friends in, failing to wipe down equipment or even taking up the rest area table by leaving their bags and gear on the tables and chairs while they go work out, these are all customer issues not an issue with the gym.
Did I mention the best part though? My latest sign up was only $5.00 biweekly. There is only a 1 year commitment with no automatic resigning or hidden fees or extras. So take your own water bottle, an upbeat playlist and a set of headphones and have a good workout.
