  • I am calling out the lazy staff of this Alamo rental location for no attempt in locating a camcorder I misplaced in the vehicle I rented and returned on November 29, 2017. After returning a Dodge Challenger in the evening coming back from Los Angeles, I was taking out my luggage from the trunk while an associate checked the fuel line and handed over my receipt. I than proceeded to take out the trash from the interior of the car when another associate jumped in the vehicle and took off with it. I didn't get a chance to do a final search to confirm I extracted any loose articles and being tired from a straight drive from California to Alamo in Vegas, I joked with my gf that they were in a rush to take the vehicle, so we took our luggage straight to my personal vehicle at the facility and loaded up our luggage and went back home, when searching through my articles, I realized that my camcorder was still in the car when it dawned on me that I never grabbed it from the car's interior, so I quickly called the location and it stated to file a Lost/Found report on it's website which I did, then I drove back to the location after thoroughly checking my personal vehicle and luggage. I arrived about 2 hours after dropping off the car and talked to customer service and they had an employee look for the Dodge Challenger, but he said over the radio call that he couldn't find it so it probably was "on the 3rd level". I asked if they could go there to check quickly, but they refused stating there were "too many vehicles to look through"..... Seriously? there are 100's of white Dodge Challengers they cant find the one I returned just 2 hours pior? They said if turns up they will contact me. I called several times throughout the following day and each time they still had not gone through the vehicle until they said it gets washed. On Friday morning, December 1st, I was emailed that the car was rented out one way to Utah and to call them up for my item. So at no point did anyone I talk to claim they bothered checking the car and now it's up to me to hope that another state can find my missing article since it was asking too much for a simple check and a yes/no answer it if was located. Very dishonest and shady in my opinion, I will NEVER rented from this company again in the lack of care and now I lost all my memories from my vacation... AVOID THESE CROOKS! I'll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well
