After purchasing a flat-top stove at this location for a good price, we decided to return for a washer. :( NOT A FAN
The washer was labeled as "new" with "cosmetic damage." (I could live with cosmetic damage for a few bucks saved). They loaded it into the truck (was the floor model). Options on the sticker was "returned/refurbished"... etc. But the sticker clearly was marked "new." When my husband and son unloaded the washer from the truck, they noted that it sounded as if it had water in it. ?!?! It's NEW ?!?! I was irked and figured I'd call Sears and tell them about it. They got it downstairs and installed it - ran the first load, and water ran out of the bottom of the washer.
So, not only was it apparently returned, sold as "new", but it was returned BROKEN, then labeled and sold as NEW.
I'm thinking about filing with the Better Business Bureau as well... This is fraud
