  • My friend Kamala had read all about Umami in a magazine article. I love non-meat burgers so, I really wanted to try it as well. We were a party of 4 when we came here for a late lunch. We were seated right away. In a nice large booth. The restaurant was nice and cool inside ,which is another plus. Our server did come quickly to get us all something to drink while we looked at the menu. However, after we got our food. We really never saw our server again until we got the check. We never got refills on our drinks and we had to ask another girl passing by for a to go box. Other than the service issue, we had a good experience. Enclosed is a photo of the menu. There's many different types of burgers to choose from. Yes, they are very expensive. However, you are in Las Vegas, in a hotel restaurant. So that is the Norm. Kamala and I both ordered the Umami burger. It's a vegetarian burger. It has a lot of bread with it, I found it to be really good and had cheese and lettuce on it. I thought it was great. I will order it anytime . Our other two friends both ordered regular burgers. They both loved them. The fries and salad are extra, à la carte. We ordered regular fries and sweet potato fries. There was more than we could finish, so that is a good value as well . The food is good, worth a try. It's located inside the SLS Hotel.
