rev:text	It's that time of year where records come up - mostly because you're rifling through a shoebox full of receipts trying to figure out how to write off that spray tan on your tax return. While Records Reduction probably can't help with that specific use case, they can at least help you get a bit more organized by getting the shoebox into some sense of organization: Like those others, we handed over a gigantic box of pictures and were handed back a nice CD of pictures that would have taken days (weeks? months?) to scan. While the actual pictures are surely better than those that I could have done myself, we had done some work to get them marginally organized - a pile here of the kids, a few that were behind a card with the year over there, that sort of thing. Unfortunately, that didn't work out too well. It's almost like they dumped the whole mess into a scanner and what came out on the CD was just a mess of scanned pictures. Now don't get me wrong - I'm glad I didn't have to do the scanning myself - but what little organization we had previously was pretty well useless, so I'm just saying you probably don't want to bother with that, as it won't help. They will just scan in bulk, and charge for what they scan (a few cents per page). Generally speaking, they are pretty friendly on what they scan - we estimated how many we had to go through the process and it seemed like we had a nice surprise as to what we were actually charged. Definitely worthwhile.
