I'm a fan! I was surprised to see such mixed reviews as I had a great experience. My husband and I stopped in on a whim for a late dinner. For it being so late (8:30 pm), the place had a decent crowd and many came in for take out too. The space was bigger than I thought and looked like it used to be a garage or something. It's not heavily decorated but that's not what we were there for.
We had a very friendly server. I'm not well-versed in Indian cuisine so I asked him what his favorite vegetarian dish was and he immediately pointed to the Vegetable Jalfrezi and that's what I got (with mild spice). The hubby got Fish Tikka Masala with plain naan. Oh my word. The best Indian food I've had in my life! Seriously. The Vegetable Jalfrezi smelled sweet of spices and although it was rather spicy, it was so tasty atop the rice. The veggies were perfectly cooked in a sweet, earthy and spicy sauce. Oh, and let me tell you about the rice. The basmati rice was so moist and piping hot when it came out to us. Usually at other places I've tried, the rice has been rather dry. Not here! The tikka masala was really creamy and it reminded me of a bisque soup. It made for a wonderful dip with the naan. Salmon was used as the fish and it wasn't all too fishy and surprisingly went well with the creamy tikka masala sauce.
Because the food was so darn delicious, I will definitely be back to try more dishes here (and hopefully become more versed in Indian cuisine)!
