  • Do not go here! I came here seeking a temporary provider to buy me some time after moving here and looking for a permanent primary care physician. I made an appointment online one day before my appointment and called to verify it about 4 hours prior to the appointment (along with verifying my insurance). The receptionist confirmed my appointment time and insurance and any additional costs I might have. I showed up 20 min early to the appointment (paperwork completed beforehand) and was told there may be an hour wait because they were short staffed. I asked, "even though i have an appointment?" The receptionist responded, "yes." I was at the appointment for 2 hours. During the appointment, I was brought back for vitals and when that was completed, I was told they were just waiting on a room to put me in and to wait in the waiting room and that it wouldn't be more than 5-10 min. 30 minutes later, I was brought back to have an exam with the doctor which lasted about 5 min. The doctor was very nice, informative, and well-educated. She is the only reason I would give any star to this review (otherwise it would be a 0 star review from me). I understand it's planned parenthood and not to expect too much, but being in the healthcare field myself, I try my hardest to get my patients taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible. I also try to not promise any thing regarding wait time because it's not fair to promise that to the patient and not be able to deliver. As I waited to check out with the receptionists, they were all hanging out up in the front office having gossip hour and consuming pizza within patient's ear shot and vision area. After leaving this appointment, I was told my birth control would be called into my pharmacy and it was not done so by the end of the work day. That was the most disappointing part, as I had taken off time from work to have this prescription renewed. I'm glad I was only planning on visiting one time.
