The rooms are small, so small you're practically walking in sideways. But with a location like this, who wants to stay in their room?
Right next to Nathan Phillips Square, so on New Year's Eve I could stumble back to my room after the festivities were over. And in the mornings I can plop out of bed and head to Chinatown for some inexpensive dim sum. Or if it's too cold out, you could drop some coin and indulge in high end dim sum at Lai Wah Heen, located in the hotel. Eaton Centre, Yonge Street all within walking distance.
If possible, avoid the rooms which face the U of T dorm building across the street. I assume they can see into the rooms so privacy is lacking. On the other hand, it's quite a show to look in on them.
