  • I can see why it'd be a great college hangout. I'd literally never stepped in here before since it looked so sketch from the outside. The inside is also a bit dingy - poorly lit, smells a bit like the entire place has been wiped with a mildewy towel soaked in disinfectant - that smell. A bit unpleasant but not so overwhelming I guess. The portions are so generous for the price normally, and the deals they do at random times of day/night are even better. We definitely only ate half each in addition to chips and sauces (do the pick 3 for $8! you get a lot of everything). The food was alright. Pretty good. Nothing out of this world, but above average and exceeded my expectations. And the margaritas were super strong. But it's good! For the price I'm very happy, since it's almost as good as my favorite margarita that costs twice as much. And it's like $3 at happy hour? Can't beat it. Would I ever crave their food and come out of the way just to eat here? Nah. But happy hour margaritas and some light snacking on cheap food? Hell yes! Unfortunately apparently most of Pitt campus agrees with me so it gets too crowded at night :(
