  • Our 3rd time was last night and unfortunately that comment is 2 fold. We won't be back. Gad we wanted it to be 'our place for Mexican'. Disappointed We're new here to Nevada and previously had a favorite Mexican restaurant we went to probably 2-3+ times a month, hoped to find a replacement. Had gone to a local Mexican restaurant didn't like it, then found another also local it was ok but nothing special either. El Torito was a chain in Calif that was awful so didn't go into this one for quite awhile. Same in name only I suppose. One day early afternoon we thought what the heck and it was okay not bad not exceptional either. We went again a few weeks later for dinner, again not great but (to us anyway) average at best. Not much atmosphere basically a no frills or ambiance basic restaurant inside and kinda plain boring not inviting appearing outside as well. Again still there for Mexican food. Last night I ordered a #1 taco beans rice hubby ordered a #2 taco enchilada rice salad beans a glass of wine and reg house margarita. No color on plate, plastic plate not a speck of color on plate not even a piece of tomato or sprig of parsley, don't you eat with your eyes first? Hubby's the same, no color, no visual appeal. Not good size (portions) either (not much food). I got the bill and thought 'that' price for 'that' meal. Sorry to us not good Mexican food, or it was an off night. Either way unfortunately we won't be back.
