My ride was at the Oro Valley location. I was so very disappointed that I was ready to ask to turn back after about 20 minutes. First of all, there was no greeting other than someone pointing to the picnic table and the helmets and telling me to fill out the waivers. No one spoke to us again except to direct us to get on a horse. No one even asked if we had ridden a horse before. The horses were dirty, lethargic and scarred up. The "trail" was next to a 6 lane busy road so you heard traffic noise ALL THE TIME. When I asked about it I was told that eventually we would go down a hill and then we wouldn't see the traffic but we would still hear it. The "trail" was also on a small piece of property so we basically zigzaged back and forth, AND it took us through a dump of some sort that included an old refrigerator, trash and a huge blue dumpster full of trash. The wranglers never spoke to us except to direct us on how to ride; no commentary about the area or the mountains or landscape. And then to top it off, the "one hour ride" was 45 minutes. I was embarrassed that I took my guests on this ride!
